This whole sweepstake exists to raise money for Lincoln City Foundation. Entry is free, there's no fee to take part or to be allocated teams, but the heart of it is the giving.
So please donate £10 for each team you reserve. It's the expected thing to do and it's where all the good is done. Donating stays voluntary: it makes no difference to your odds or your allocation, and it is never a condition of entry, which is what keeps this a legal free prize draw.
We never take or hold your money. Donations are made directly on the Foundation's own secure, Gift-Aid-enabled page, so if you're a UK taxpayer the charity can claim an extra 25% at no cost to you.
The £50 prize
Every £10-per-team donation goes to Lincoln City Foundation regardless of results. The £50 is a separate gift from Lincolnshire Marketing, awarded only to the entrant holding the World Cup-winning team. Winner takes £50, or may nominate a charity of their choice.If no entrant holds the champions it simply isn't awarded, and the charity has still received every donation either way. The prize is sponsor-funded and is not taken from charity donations.
